I was surprised to hear Mrs. Obama say that if her husband is elected President of the United States and she becomes First Lady, she will concentrate on addressing the issue of work home balance. The more I thought about it, though, the better I understood. Work life balance is a huge concern for many Americans. It's a quality-of-life issue with serious implications for the whole nation.
