If you are a parent of a child with a chronic illness or a disability, we need your input! We are considering offering our services to parents with special-needs children by starting a non-profit organization called Tender Tidings Special Needs, but before we embark on such an extensive project, we'd like to hear from the parents and find out if they feel they could use the kinds of services we offer.

Our main Web site, www.TenderTidings.com, offers working parents the ability to install a high-quality wireless camera in any room of their home so they can log on to their work computers and access real-time streaming video of their at-home child. It's a way to stay connected to the child even when the parents have to be away.

It seems to us that a child monitoring system like Tender Tidings would be particularly helpful to parents of special needs children. We are considering starting a non-profit organization that would help parents with the cost of this service, but we honestly don’t know if there is enough need to warrant this step. Is there?

This service not only offers  safe, password-protected videostream, but there’s also a shareable family calendar and tools for communicating with the child’s caregiver. Multi-level passwords offer different levels of access to the account so parents can assign a password to other trusted caregivers who may also want to check on the child remotely.

Please, if you know a working mom or working dad who has a special-needs child, ask for his/her opinion and ask them to share with us by responding to this blog post. If you, yourself, know the demands and needs of these caregiving parents, do take the time to let us know your thoughts. We welcome your opinions and ideas.

Visit www.TenderTidings.com to see if this child monitoring system would benefit parents of disabled children. Your opinions are the ones that count.
